Bracing for Idaho’s new ban, group maps safe bathrooms across the state for trans people

Preparing for the ban, Trans Affirm, a nonprofit that advocates for trans people in Idaho, crowd-sourced an online map of inclusive bathrooms across Idaho that it says are safe for people who are trans or gender diverse to use.

Small Business Administration offers low-interest loans for wind, drought damage

Homeowners, renters, businesses and nonprofits harmed by windstorms and earlier drought conditions can now apply for loans from the Small Business Administration to help replace and repair their property or other assets.

Obamacare premiums likely to surge again next year

Affordable Care Act Marketplace insurers are proposing a median premium increase of 14% for 2027, which would be a double-digit hike for the second year in a row, according to a new analysis of preliminary rate filings.
